Content Warning depicts the true horrors of social media and shares this fear with the world via its gameplay. This Landfall Publishing creation lets you team up with your friends and tasks you with filming scary content for the sake of being famous. Although it is a co-op, the number of players that can join is a recurring question amongst all horror game lovers.
How Many Players Can Play Content Warning?
Content Warning can support 2-4 players for online co-op gameplay. This means your lobby will be able to support a maximum of four players (including yourself) for each session. You can invite your friends on Steam or even join any open lobby that you might find in the game for a chance to try playing with random players.
However, Content Warning is currently only available on Steam, so crossplay will not be an option if you have friends that play on other consoles. You will only be able to invite players who have the game on their PC.
Can You Play Content Warning Solo?
Yes, you can play Content Warning solo instead of the usual co-op multiplayer. To play solo, all you have to do is start the game with only yourself in the lobby and ignore the game message when it prompts you to invite friends.
For filming solo horror content, just set the camera in selfie mode and record all your horrifying shenanigans for SpookTube.
