Did you finally get your hands on Last Epoch and were greeted by an ominous ‘online play unavailable’ error after creating your character? You are not alone. Massive number of players trying to connect to online servers are facing the same issue.
Can You Fix “Online Play Unavailable” Error In Last Epoch?
At the moment, there’s no known cause or solution for the “Online Play Unavailable” error in Last Epoch. You simply have to try again and again to get in the queue. After the game’s 1.0 launch, the servers are simply overburdened and can’t seem to handle the massive influx of new players.
Only thing you can do at the moment is restart the game and try logging in again. Follow this process several times and you just might get in. Eleventh Hour Games has announced it is currently working on fixing the server issues and eventually you won’t have to face this error.
Try the following quick fixes and see if any of them works for you:!
- Relaunch the game and try entering online servers again!
- As advised, check server and multiplayer mode status via official Last Epoch X account
- Restart your PC
- Verify Game Files
- Ensure that your internet connection is stable
- Check for updates
- Turn off your VPN.
At the time of writing this article, Eleventh Hour Games has reported that players will be able to play Last Epoch completely offline while it sorts out the server issues. So if none of the aforementioned fixes work for you and you are still stuck in lobby after character creation, I recommend you start an offline campaign.
