Legendary Potential is a crafting stat in Last Epoch. It is needed when Unique items or gears are modified into Legendary items in the game. As the name suggests, Legendary Potential can only be used to get legendary items and cannot be used on rare or uncommon gear.
What Does Legendary Potential Do In Last Epoch?
Legendary Potential is a stat that determines the number of affixes that are transferred from Exalted gear to Unique gear in the game. This unique piece with Legendary Potential can then be modified into a Legendary piece using those LP stats.
Each piece can have 1 to 4 Legendary Potentials (taken from the Exalted piece) which can give the same number of affixes to the Legendary piece. You can go through our Last Epoch Crafting Guide and learn more about upgrading and crafting gear in this game.

How To Craft Legendary Items In Last Epoch?
Before you can craft Legendary items, you need to complete the Temporary Sanctum Dungeon. This dungeon will give you an Eternity Cache which can be used to modify legendary pieces in Last Epoch.
Then place the same unique (with high legendary potential) and exalted item inside the Eternity Cache and wait for them to combine. Finally, you will get a new combined Legendary item with stats from both of your previously placed items.
You can use this legendary weapon to farm more high-level dungeons to get more loot from the game.
