Bringing additional content to Helldivers 2 in the form of Mechs is next on the bucket list for the developer. Recent leaks suggest that the playtesting for these towering robots has already been done. But the question on everyone’s mind is about the release date for the Mechs in Helldivers 2.

When Will Helldivers 2 Get Mechs?
In the Helldivers 2 Subreddit, User Fozzye18 shared leaked footage of someone using the Mech in the game. This suggests that the Mechs are ready for use inside the server. In terms of the developers, they haven’t confirmed the Mechs for the roadmap of 2024, although they are ready to go. We also know that the developers have worked on multiple Mechs, not just a single one.
The developers of the game haven’t commented on the leaks. However, judging by the gameplay leaked, it is likely that the Mechs will hit the game sooner rather than later since work on them is almost done. Aside from Mechs, players also had access to an energy RPG, a meteorite-like nuke, and a group of NPC Helldivers one could call in for support.
The bottom line is, even though Arrowhead Games haven’t confirmed mechs for the roadmap, we have seen them in trailers and now in leaks, polished and almost ready to go. All of this indicates that the time to suit up inside a Mech might come soon enough for Helldivers fans.
