Blizzard has unfurled its ambitious plans for World of Warcraft in 2024, promising continued adventures across both modern and classic versions of the iconic MMORPG. Whether you’re a dragonrider, a hardcore adventurer, or a Cataclysm fan, this roadmap’s got something for you.
According to the blog post, three more content updates will grace the Dragonflight expansion before its successor, World of Warcraft: The War Within. These updates will conclude Dragonflight’s narrative and lay the groundwork for the next chapter. Season 4 will revisit Dragonflight’s dungeons, raids, and even outdoor zones, all infused with fresh rewards and unexpected twists. Blizzard will invite players to participate in an alpha and beta during the Spring to Summer seasons for The War Within.

Dragonflight had a high population when it first started, according to mmo-population, but that same attention hasn’t been held for the whole year. We imagine that Blizzard is trying to hold players’ attention with this next expansion as well.

The newer versions of World of Warcraft are getting more attention than the classic, but there’s still a lot going on in this version.
