The developer Cygames has announced that a free demo for upcoming Granblue Fantasy: Relink will release today on PlayStation store. Players can download this free demo for their PS4 and PS5 consoles, starting from 10 AM ET/ 3 PM GMT/ 4 PM CET on January 11, 2024 or 12 AM JST on January 12, 2024.
The announcement came after the recent Granblue Fantasy: Relink showcase. The developer Cygames announced on Twitter that this demo will be made available to PS players today.
According to the information offered by Cygames during the Granblue Showcase Part 2: Relink, this demo will offer players an early chunk of the upcoming game’s single-player story mode. The demo is also set to include a small number of missions hailing from Granblue Fantasy: Relink’s Quest Mod. Through these missions, players can lock horns with CPU allies or even some other players online.
Apart from these two playable portions of the game, the demo will also include a Tutorial Mode. This mode is designed to introduce players to the new gameplay mechanics coming to Relink, and offer them a chance to be well-versed in gameplay nuances before the game launches.
The Granblue Fantasy: Relink demo will allow players to try out range of different playable characters from the full game. It will also allow players to customize these characters and different loadouts to try to different playstyles to gauge which one suits them well.
The developer has also announced that completing certain parts of Granblue Fantasy: Relink demo will reward players will various in-game resources that players can avail later, once the game releases on February 1, 2024.
