Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy is now available for free on the Epic Games Store. The popular action-adventure game by Square Enix will be available to be claimed for free until 8 AM PT/ 11 AM ET/4 PM GMT on January 11, 2024.
This free game is the last one in Epic Games Store’s special Christmas promotion this year, which offered 17 free games over the last 17 days. However, unlike those games which were free to grab for 24 hours each, Guardians of the Galaxy will be free to claim for a week on EGS until January 11. Players can download and enjoy this thrilling game and embark on a comic cosmic adventure with Star-Lord, Groot, Rocket Racoon, and Gamora.
Despite its widespread appreciation by fans, Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy had reportedly failed to meet the developer Square Enix’s initial sales expectations. The game also won The Game Awards’ trophy for Best Narrative Game of 2021. Apart from this special promotion from EGS, the game is also available through Sony’s PS Plus subscription service.
Epic Games Store has been giving away loads of exciting games, including celebrated AAA titles, such as A Plague Tale: Innocence, Fallout 3, Ghostrunner, Ghostwire: Tokyo, and Saints Row (2022). Sail Forth, an indie naval adventure game, will replace Guardians of the Galaxy on January 11 as the next free title from EGS.
