Ahead of its November 3 release, Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 has a new gameplay video leaked on Twitter. Shared by Twitter user Treydemarked, the clip features a match-up between Reptar and Gertie.
The leaked gameplay video provides a look at the game’s combat mechanics and fighting style.
This comes after a barrage of prior leaks of All-Star Brawl 2’s character costumes, cover art, DLC characters, and more.
Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 Prior Leaks
A few days ago, Twitter user AusilMV posted an image that appeared to reveal leaked character costumes from the base game.
Going a few days back from AusilMV’s leak, Reddit user White_Mantra shared a leaked extended cover art image on the Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl subreddit. This image reveals several new characters joining the game, including Gerald and Gertie from Hey Arnold, Plankton from SpongeBob, Ember from Danny Phantom, Azula from The Legend of Korra, Daggett and Norbert from Angry Beavers, and El Tigre from El Tigre.
However, the cover art also raises questions about the fate of some veterans from the first game. It’s not entirely clear whether some of the familiar characters are absent from the cover art because they’re not included or if it’s simply an oversight. If these veterans have indeed been removed, it would mean that characters like Leonardo, Michelangelo, Lincoln Loud, Oblina, Shredder, Hugh Neutron, Powdered Toast Man, Toph, Helga, CatDog, and Sandy may no longer be in the game.
Removing so many established characters would be a significant change to the game’s roster. While it may make sense for a sequel, it’s worth noting that it could be surprising and disappointing for fans who have grown attached to these characters.
In another leak, AusilMV, a reliable MultiVersus leaker, revealed that the upcoming DLC characters may include Mr. Krabs, Zuko, Iroh from Avatar: The Last Airbender, and Rocksteady from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
PapaGenos, who’s been accurate with previous leaks, supported this information, adding to its credibility. While it’s essential to remain cautious with leaks, considering the substantial amount of prior game details revealed, this leak appears quite likely to be true.
Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 is scheduled to launch on November 3, 2023, on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Switch, and PC via Steam.
