Overwatch 2 is bringing back its annual Winter Wonderland event on December 19, 2023, Blizzard Entertainment announced in a tweet. The event will be available until January 9, 2024.
This year’s Winter Wonderland will bring back fan-favorite game modes along with new Legendary skins and a Winter Fair Event Pass (not to be confused with the season 8 battle pass).
During the event, Overwatch 2 players will be able to access Arcade game modes like Freeze-Flash Elimination, Yeti Hunter, Snowball Deathmatch, and Mei’s Snowball Offensive.
While Winter Wonderland 2023 will give players the opportunity to bag free rewards, developers will also add premium items in the shop every week of the event. Players will be able to purchase Festive Kiriko, Formalwear Legendary, and Jingle Belle Mercy skins, among others.
Using the Winter Fair Event Pass, players will be able to earn tickets to spend on rewards at the Winter Fair. The free track of the pass will include a free legendary skin and players will be able to choose between Formalwear skin for Cassidy or Baptiste and the Witner Jammies Illari skin. Players can unlock the premium track by paying 500 Overwatch Coins to unlock more tickets and skin, such as the Legendary Kerrigan Widowmaker and the Legendary Wrapping Paper Reinhardt skins.
Winter Wonderland 2023 in Overwatch 2 will be available to players on Switch, PC, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, PS4, and PS5. More details are available on the game’s official website.
