The first GTA 6 trailer will be out on December 5.
The announcement comes directly from Rockstar Games on X. The team will release the trailer on Tuesday at 9AM ET. The post, although expected, took the community by surprise.
The announcement image refers to the trailer as “Trailer 1”, so one can expect more promotional material to be revealed in the coming months.
Going by the seagulls and palm trees in the image, it seems GTA 6 could be set in a Miami (or Vice City)- inspired location, as rumors previously suggested.
What’s interesting is that the GTA 6 trailer will be unveiled just two days before The Game Awards, which will be live on December 7. Whether Rockstar makes an appearance at the event remains to be seen.
Last month, Rockstar had broken silence on GTA 6 for the first time in a long time. They had posted on X:
“We are very excited to let you know that in early December, we will release the first trailer for the next Grand Theft Auto. We look forward to many more years of sharing these experiences with all of you.”
The GTA 6 trailer release will coincide with Rockstar’s 25th anniversary, so more details about the game are expected soon.
