Well Rounded Combat

Stellar Blade's combat is a unique blend of swordsmanship, acrobatic dodges, and cybernetic arm attacks. The attack includes both light and heavy moves.

Not A Soulslike Game

Contrary to the initial impression the game made, Stellar Blade is not your typical Soulslike game. The difficulty is rather approachable and more similar to games like NieR: Automata.

The game comes with two modes - Story Mode and Normal Mode. The Story Mode is more forgiving.

Despite being partially open world, Stellar Blade has many explorative areas like Wasteland and Great Desert.

While the combat is not too complex in the demo, the final version is expected to have five skill trees. The upgrade options on these skill trees look quite promising.

No Microtransactions

Stellar Blade comes with a lot of free costume and accessory options. The game director has also revealed that no microtransactions are intended in the future unless brand collaboration is involved.

The game progress you made in the Stellar Blade demo will be carried forward to the final version, which is releasing on April 26, 2024.
