A new contender in the tactical shooter genre has finally arrived; Spectre Divide. In only a couple of days after the launch, the Ranked Mode is already live with many ranks to grind and eventually reach the top of the ladder. So here is everything you need to know about Spectre Divide Ranked Mode and what it takes to access it.
How To Unlock Ranked Mode In Spectre Divide
You need to play and win 5 Casual mode matches to unlock Spectre Divide Ranked Mode. This ensures you have the basics of the game and have a good feel for it. Compared to other PvP games, this is a very low requirement to enter Ranked since it usually requires more than 10-20 matches to unlock.
All Solo And Team Rank Tiers In Spectre Divide
Spectre Divide features separate ranks for your own performance and your team’s performance. Your Solo Rank is increased and decreased whether you queue solo, duo or as a full stack of three. Your Team Rank can only be earned by queuing as a full 3-stack party and this rank will belong only to this unique team of three players.
Despite queuing as a team though, you may still be matched with players playing solo or duos but it is less likely. Two players playing as a Duo will not receive Team Ranks but can progress their own Solo Ranks
Solo Ranks
Here are all Solo Rank Tiers in Spectre Divide starting from the lowest SR (Sentai Rating) to the highest:
- Bronze (I – IV)
- Silver (I – IV)
- Gold (I – IV)
- Platinum (I – IV)
- Emerald (I – IV)
- Ruby (I – IV)
- Diamond (I – IV)
- Champion
Team Ranks
Here are all Team Rank Tiers in Spectre Divide starting from the lowest SR (Sentai Rating) to the highest:
- Undiscovered (I – IV)
- Prospect (I – IV)
- Talent (I – IV)
- Professional (I – IV)
- Elite (I – IV)
- International (I – IV)
- Superstar (I – IV)
- World Class (I – IV)
- Champion
Apart from the final Champion Rank in Spectre Divide Ranked mode, each Rank has four Tiers to climb where Tier I is the lowest and Tier IV is the highest. Each Rank Tier spans for 200 SR (Sentai Rating) and you get a bonus of 50 SR whenever you are promoted to the next Rank. This is to ensure you have some breathing room in your new rank.
However, if you drop and get demoted, this 50 SR will be subtracted in addition to the SR you lost as a cause of the demotion. After reaching the Champion rank, you will continue gaining SR without a cap. This acts as a top leaderboard with the best players having the highest amount of SR.
How Does Ranked Placement Work In Spectre Divide?
You will need to play 5 Placement matches for the system to determine your starting Rank and its Tier in Spectre Divide. After each match, you will get a checkmark for a win, an ‘X’ for a loss or a white circle for a draw.
Getting all wins during these placement matches ensures you get the highest initial rank. So make sure you practice in Casual even after you unlock Ranked, so you can play well in your initial Placement Matches and get the best Rank in the Ranked Mode of Spectre Divide.
Spectre Divide Ranked Mode Rewards
Each Season of Spectre Divide Ranked Mode will last for several months but at the end of it, you will receive a Gun Charm for the highest Rank you reached in both Solo and Team Ranks in Spectre Divide. You can also get a Spray for reaching the higher ranked in the Ranked Mode.
Here are the requirements to get the Spray in Ranked rewards:
