All Maps Ranked in Battlefield 6

Battlefield 6 will arrive with nine multiplayer maps on launch. Each of these maps will be unique and will offer a different style of combat and terrain. From tight, infantry-only battles to massive combined-arms challenges, there will be something for every type of player.

With the Battlefield 6 beta already underway and giving players a taste of the action, now’s the perfect time to break down all the maps and see how they stack up against each other. Let us rank all nine multiplayer maps and see where they stand based on their terrain, flow, and gameplay variety.

Battlefield 6: All Multiplayer Game Mode Maps Ranked

Here’s how each of Battlefield 6’s multiplayer maps compares in terms of combat flow, variety, and tactical opportunities. The ranking goes from the least versatile to the most well-rounded experience.

9) Saints Quarter

Saints Quarter is the smallest map at launch, set in Gibraltar’s Old Town. It’s an infantry-only map focused on extremely close-quarters combat. While fast-paced and intense, the lack of varied gameplay elements makes it the least versatile of the bunch.

Matches on this map can feel a bit repetitive after some time. Still, for players who love nonstop close-range fights, it still has its place.

8) New Sobek City

This map is located on the outskirts of Cairo, New Sobek City gives vehicles a lot of freedom to dictate the flow of battle. The construction sites and sand dunes offer plenty of open engagement zones.

Infantry players may find themselves at a disadvantage without strong anti-vehicle support. Although the map is visually appealing, it can be frustrating for lone players caught in open terrain.

7) Siege of Cairo

This central Cairo map blends narrow alleyways with open urban streets, creating a constant cat-and-mouse game between infantry and tanks. This map offers great tension and positioning battles.

It can still sometimes feel a bit unbalanced depending on vehicle dominance. Still, its layout and design offer smart movement and quick flanking, which is one of the reasons the open beta crushed every entry that came before

6) Empire State

Empire State is a pure infantry-only experience, and it thrives on close-quarters gunfights. The streets of Brooklyn, paired with rooftops and back alleys, create constant action.

SMGs and shotguns dominate here, and the destructible environments let players create new routes mid-battle. While it’s fun for aggressive players, the lack of vehicle play puts it slightly lower on the list for those who prefer variety.

5) Manhattan Bridge

New York City’s Manhattan Bridge map offers a larger play space compared to the Empire State map. This allows for both infantry and vehicle gameplay, and it is a good place to use the best weapons in the game.

Tall buildings can be captured and fortified, creating dangerous strongholds if left unchecked. It’s a great map for mixed combat, but its open roads can make infantry movement risky without proper cover.

4) Iberian Offensive

Gibraltar’s winding streets can make for some of the best combat moments in the game. The verticality of the map means control of certain buildings can completely swing the fight in your favor.

Tanks can make a huge impact here on this map. However, the real focus is on holding chokepoints and controlling alleyways, making it a tactical playground for coordinated squads.

3) Liberation Peak

Set in the mountains of Tajikistan, Liberation Peak creates a solid balance between open vehicle gameplay and infantry battles. The long sightlines make this map a sniper’s paradise, but it’s a good place to turn off adaptive triggers in.

On the other hand, elevated positions give teams with good pilots a serious edge. Its varied elevation makes firefights unpredictable, keeping both attackers and defenders on their toes.

2) Operation Firestorm

A returning fan-favorite from Battlefield 3, Operation Firestorm thrives on vehicle combat. The burning oil fields of Iran offer wide-open zones for tanks and aircraft.

The infantry can also find moments of intense action around control points on this map. Operation Firestorm is a map that rewards teamwork between ground and air units, and its nostalgia factor only makes it more appealing for long-time fans.

1) Mirak Valley

Mirak Valley tops the list as the most complete Battlefield 6 experience at launch. As the largest map in the game, it accommodates every vehicle type, including tanks, jets, and helicopters. It also gives infantry meaningful ways to engage through its trench system.

The open fields allow for massive battles, while the varied terrain ensures there’s always a way to flank. It’s chaotic, but in the best way possible, making it perfect for players who love large-scale warfare in Battlefield 6.
