“Worked on Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020, Halo Infinite, Grounded, As Dusk Falls, CrossfireX, Nobody Saves the World, five unannounced Xbox Game Studios 1PP titles, one unannounced ID@Xbox and Game Pass title, and two unannounced licensed IP titles,” said Kat Carson, former Senior Business Development Manager at Microsoft.
Although It is unclear which unannounced IP titles she was working for, one may speculate that the IP could be from Bethesda, which is rumored to be under the Disney banner.
Leaked unannounced IP from Bethesda
In the September 2023 major Xbox leak, Microsoft accidentally uploaded a number of classified documents to the U.S. District Court website. The leaked ZeniMax roadmap revealed the existence of Bethesda’s unannounced IP under work, predicted to be released in the year 2024.
Later, Shpeshal Nick, the co-host of The Xbox Two mentioned that the IP could be under Disney’s banner. However, ZeniMax has been working independently ever since March 2021, when Microsoft acquired Xbox Game Studios, and hence it could be unlikely that Microsoft is directly involved in this project.
Five unknown titles from Xbox Game Studios
Kat Carson also wrote that she was working on five unannounced Xbox Game Studios first-party titles. Carson started working at Microsoft in 2020, and hence it is unsure if any of the said titles are awaiting announcement till now.
Apart from this, she also revealed that she was working on an unannounced ID@Xbox game title, which is the indie publishing program from Xbox. The games under this program are offered through the Xbox Game Pass.
