Immediately after starting your Starfield journey, you are sent on a wild goose chase to find Moara which eventually leads you to the Starfield Nova Galactic Staryard. It is an abandoned space station on Earth’s moon Luna and is now infested with dangerous enemies lurking at every corner.
According to “The Old Neighborhood” mission in the game, Moara’s exact whereabouts can be found in a document aboard the Nova Galactic Staryard. The location has become a complete warzone due to the ongoing war between the Ecliptic soldiers and Spacers. Starfield Nova Galactic Staryard Location
The Nova Galactic Staryard can be found orbiting Earth’s moon Luna in the Sol Star System. If you are following along “The Old Neighborhood” quest, chances are that you’re already in the Sol Star System. Simply find the moon Luna, and travel till you see the space station floating around. Then dock your ship and head into the dangerous territory with caution.
You can also take a gander at what remains of the deserted Earth while you are in the area.
Starfield Nova Galactic Staryard Side Mission
While inside the Starfield Nova Galactic Staryard, you will discover that the place is brimming with dangerous enemies. As much as you’d want to avoid them and sneak your way through, It is better to go guns a-blazing and kill every last one of them. Not only do these enemies drop good loot, but you can also get a note unlocking the Mantis side mission in the game.
This note marks a secret outpost on your map following which leads you to the planet Denebola I-B. Once you clear out the base and eliminate all the threats in the area, you can loot everything and get the Reactive the Mantis Spacesuit, and the Razorleaf starship as rewards.
How to Complete The Old Neighborhood Mission in Starfield?
The Old Neighborhood mission starts you off at the United Colonies headquarters where John Tuala instructs you to find Moara’s whereabouts in Cydonia. After reaching Cydonia and questioning a bartender about Moara, you are misled into traveling to Venus. While on the journey, intercepting a radio message will direct you to the Starfield Nova Galactic Staryard.
The Nova Galactic Staryard contains a slate/note informing that Moara is in Neptune. Upon reaching the planet, you have to board Moara’s floating ship and kill all the Ecliptic mercenaries before rescuing him.
Finally, you can collect the artifact and deliver it to Sarah Morgan to successfully end this quest.
Keep in mind, the Ecliptic soldiers and the spacers that you encounter in both Nova Galactic Staryard and the ship are higher level making them super strong. Be sure to carry extra meds, and have a companion by your side during this challenging adventure.
