Arrowhead Game Studios said there will be a new update for Helldivers 2 called the Viper Commandos Warbond. This update will come out on June 13th, 2024, and will bring in new things like items and ways to change your character’s appearance, all based on jungle fighting.
According to the PlayStation Blog, the Viper Commandos Warbond focuses on making sure everything looks good together, with items that are meant to go together to create a cool soldier look. The most important part of the update is the new weapons. Players will get to use the AR-23A Liberator Carbine, a shorter version of the classic Liberator gun. It can shoot faster but is harder to control. The update also has the SG-22 Bushwhacker, a shotgun with three barrels that can shoot all at once. It can be used as a backup weapon.

New armor sets are included in the Warbond. The PH-9 Predator light armor is based on a legendary Viper Commando and has open arms to release heat better in wet places. The PH-202 Twigsnapper gives strong protection for walking through thick jungle plants. Both armor sets have the Peak Physique passive ability that makes melee damage and weapon handling better.
The Viper Commandos Warbond gives players a new throwing knife for fighting up close. They can also use the Experimental Infusion booster, which gives them temporary extra speed and protection.

Several new ways to personalize things have been added. Helldivers can now decorate their Hellpods, Exosuits, and Pelican-1 dropships with new woodland and tiger stripe camouflage. The Warbond also brings in new capes, player cards, and emotes for more personalization options.
