The tight ends need to be fast and great in Madden NFL 26. Make sure you pick the right ones for your team when you play.
These versatile players are a nightmare for defenses because they can both catch passes like a Wide Receivers and block for their Running Backs, making them a difficult assignment for even the best Safeties. There are players in the top 10 who flew under the radar before now. We don’t have much on them, but at least we can give a rough idea of who they are, and luckily, their stats fill in some gaps.

Evan Engram was born in 1994 in Powder Springs, Georgia. He is a tight end who played college football for the Ole Miss Rebels and was a first-round pick in the 2017 NFL Draft. Engram has played for the New York Giants and Jacksonville Jaguars and is currently with the Denver Broncos.
He won the Conerly Trophy in 2016 and has been selected for the National Conference Pro Bowl. In 2023, he signed a three-year, $41.25 million contract with the Jaguars and joined the 100 Catch Club. He was later released by the Jaguars and signed a two-year deal with the Broncos in March 2025.

Sam LaPorta, born on January 12, 2001, is a tight end from Highland, Illinois. He played college football for the Iowa Hawkeyes from 2019 to 2022
LaPorta was selected in the second round as the 34th pick in the 2023 NFL draft and now plays for the Detroit Lions. He has been honored as a National Conference Pro Bowl player.

Dallas Goedert, born on January 3, 1995, is a tight end from Aberdeen, South Dakota. He played college football for the South Dakota State Jackrabbits from 2013 to 2017.
Goedert was drafted in the second round as the 49th pick in 2018 and currently plays for the Philadelphia Eagles. He is also an American of German heritage.

T.J. Hockenson was born in 1997 and is a tight end. He played college football for the Iowa Hawkeyes, winning the John Mackey Award in 2018. Hockenson was drafted by the Detroit Lions in the 2019 NFL Draft and now plays for the Minnesota Vikings.
He has been selected for the National Conference Pro Bowl. Hockenson set an NFL record in his debut and holds a Lions franchise receiving record. He has faced injuries, including hand surgery in 2021 and a knee injury in 2023 that placed him on injured reserve.

He currently plays for the Baltimore Ravens and has been selected for the American Conference Pro Bowl. Andrews is known for managing type 1 diabetes and is a key player on the Ravens’ roster.

He currently plays for the Arizona Cardinals and has been selected for the National Conference Pro Bowl. McBride is from Fort Morgan, Colorado, and has done well to make his hometown proud.

Kelce was drafted by the Kansas City Chiefs in the third round (63rd pick) of the 2013 NFL Draft and remains with the team.
He has been selected for the American Conference Pro Bowl multiple times and has won Super Bowl LIV, LVII, and LVIII with the Chiefs. Kelce was named to the NFL’s 2010s All-Decade Team. Off the field, he co-hosts the “New Heights” podcast with his older brother, Jason Kelce.

He has been selected for the National Conference Pro Bowl multiple times, including in 2018, 2019, 2021, 2022, and 2023. Kittle was part of the 49ers team that competed in Super Bowl LIV. In 2020, he signed a five-year contract extension worth $75 million with the 49ers. He’s the top TE to look out for in Madden NFL 26.
