The Persona 3 Remake domain was recently registered, hinting a solid update on the game’s development might come to the public soon. The Persona 5T domain was also recently updated, with fans now unsure as to which title Atlus would be showcasing first.
The developer of the Persona series had announced earlier this year that they have several projects lined up for release in 2023. While they have not yet given any specific information about these upcoming titles, there have been several rumors as to what these new titles might be, and which Persona series would they be based on. Two of the most consistently rumored games expected to release in 2023 were Persona 5T as well as Persona 3 Remake. In fact, a short ‘alleged’ teaser video for the Persona 3 Remake was also leaked on YouTube last month.
After this video, the upcoming Persona 3 Remake was further confirmed by insider Lolilolailo. They are respected by the moderators of Persona Central and responsible for correctly leaking information about Persona 3 Portable, Persona 4 Golden, and Persona 5 Royal for Xbox Game Pass in the past. According to them, Persona 3 Remake will combine the elements of both the previous Persona 3 versions into an ultimate, comprehensive edition. They suspect that the new Persona 3 Remake will feature the unlockable female protagonist from Persona 3 Portable, along with the additional epilogue content from Persona 3 FES.

According to AyodeNBN on Reddit, however, it is unlikely that we will get the Persona 3 Remake anytime soon. He even goes on to say that he might be surprised if the title is released this year. While talking about which Persona game might make the first appearance, he claims that it’d be difficult to guess as Atlus has kept silent on the details and both the leaks for P5T and P3R surfaced within a matter of days.
