Palia open beta offers players a chance to dive into the cute and cozy MMO starting from August 10, 2023. The game offers a friendly and thriving online community, allowing you to create your own character, design your own house, and partake in exciting adventures – either solo or with friends.
You can do what you love in Palia—fish, forage, farm, cook, hunt, mine, garden, make furniture, or even catch critters and bugs. The game features a vast map, filled with forests, oceans, rivers, beaches, and open fields. Limited only by your imagination, you can design and live your ideal sim life and explore countless possibilities for friendships, communication, and adventures.
Palia open beta release date and timings
The open beta for Palia is releasing on August 10, 2023, at exactly 1 PM EST or 10 AM PT. It will finally offer all players a chance for an unrestrictive jump into the massive world of the game and enjoy all the game has to offer.
This follows a closed beta period which ran from August 2, 2023, for select players on an invite-only basis. The full version of the game is set to release in Winter 2023. However, the exact release date is yet to be announced by the developer.
How to Join Palia Open Beta
In order to join Palia open beta, you have to create an official Palia account. In contrast to the invite-only closed beta, anyone can access the Palia open beta from tomorrow.
- You can register for a new Palia account on the game’s official website. This account will be the central hub for you to manage and control all the aspects of the game. You can use this account to refer or invite your friends as well as download the game.
- Once the open beta for Palia starts on August 10, you will have to manually log into your Palia account and download the game and start playing.
It is worth noting that registering for the game’s newsletter is different than actually creating a player account. Even if you have registered for the newsletter, you would still have to create a Palia account to download the game.
Moreover, if you participated in the Alpha test for Palia, you do not need to create a new account. The same goes for those of you who already have access to the closed beta.
Once you start playing the open beta version of Palia, there’s no need to worry about losing any of your progress when the full game releases in winter 2023. Unlike the previous tests and closed beta, there will be no memory wiping for the players jumping into Palia open beta. All the progress you make here will carry over to the full release.
Palia open beta is limited to Windows platforms though. This means Nintendo Switch users have to wait some more to get their hands on the cozy MMO.
Palia is set to launch in winter 2023 on PC (Windows) and Nintendo Switch.
