Where & How To Upgrade Tools In Coral Island
In order to start upgrading your tools, you will need to get help from the island’s only blacksmiths, Rafael and Pablo. You will meet this duo pretty early on in the game, and you will need to visit their workshop whenever you want to upgrade a tool in your possession. Their shop is located near the woodlands, situated in the northeastern region of the island.
While you can start upgrading your tools right from the first time you visit their shop, you will need some time to get the required materials in order. Every tool upgrade in Coral Island requires in-game currency and materials, such as coins and wood, bronze bars, or coal.
Once you have enough materials required for an upgrade, you can visit the Blacksmith brothers, select the tool you want to upgrade from the dialogue options, and voila! You will gain a stronger and more potent tool in no time.

- Shears: Gold x400 (to trim wool from the sheep)
- Animal Whistle: x500 (to call horses)
How To Gather Materials Required For Coral Island Tool Upgrades
One of the key ingredients required for upgrading any tool is a metal bar. This will change depending on your level, as all upgradable tools can be upgraded to bronze, silver, gold, and osmium levels. Every upgrade requires x number of bars of that particular material.
In order to collect a metal bar of any of the aforementioned metals, you need to follow these simple steps:
- Collect a sufficient amount of metal ores through mining.
- Keep enough wood stockpiled.
- Find and stockpile coal that you will find working around the land.
- Place 5 metal ores, one coal, and wood in a furnace to smelt a single metal bar.
While the process is relatively easy, finding these materials may take some time. So remember, be patient, look for resources everywhere you go, and spend the collected materials with caution.
