Needed for completing the Spring Altar in Coral Island, Wasabi is one of the most important scavenge-able vegetables in the game’s spring season. But, being an item usually found while foraging, Wasabi can be quite challenging to locate.
We have gathered all the information regarding the locations where it usually spawns so that you don’t have to run around aimlessly throughout Starlet Town. Here are all the Wasabi locations found on Coral Island.
Where To Find Wasabi In Coral Island
Wasabi can be found in four specific locations on the Starlet Town map. They are:
- Forest – Wasabi has a chance of spawning throughout the entire forest area next to the mines. You just have to make sure to check every day during Springtime to get one.
- Garden Lane – The Garden Lane is located above the Community Center and Recycling Center and is home to Millie and Yuri. You can usually find scavenge-able items, including Wasabi, there.
- Woodlands – The grassy areas above the School and Emma’s Taco Truck belong to the Woodlands. Just make sure to check once in a while to spot some Wasabi growing amongst the grass.
- Diving Pier Grassland – The grassy area above the Diving Pier right next to the Beach has a chance of spawning Wasabi as well.

Wasabi can be used to cook the delicacy Sashimi. It is also a well-liked item when gifted to most of the Townsfolk in Coral Island, except Eva, Leah, Raj, and Scott. You can also receive some Wasabi from Paul when you have leveled up your friendship to two hearts in the game.
Although trash cans have a rare chance of dropping loot, the loot drop for Wasabi is even less than normal items in the game. Also, make sure to keep some Wasabi in stock instead of selling it all because it might come in handy.
