Kohei Horikoshi, the creator of My Hero Academia has revealed the plan for how Deku will stop Shigaraki, but this plan sees the former making a lot of sacrifices. These sacrifices will not result in Deku losing his limbs or two, but the treasure he received from All Might, his quirk, could be in danger.

Deku Will Become The Greatest Hero But At A Huge Cost
My Hero Academia Chapter 413 saw the second user of One For All figuring out that the only way to hurt Shigaraki is from the inside. This could only be achieved by inflicting Shigaraki with One For All quirks.
As Kudo explained, Deku passed on the former’s quirk to Shigaraki forcefully. This indeed resulted in Shigaraki getting hurt from the inside. However, as Chapter 414 showcased, Deku will need to continue passing down his quirks.
Thus, starting from My Hero Academia chapter 415, we will see Deku losing more of his quirks. So far, Deku has lost the Danger sense quirk that Shigaraki had stolen, and then we saw Deku passing Gear Shift.

In addition to this, the latest chapter also sees that Deku is planning to pass En’s quirk onto Shigaraki to inflict the same damage. However, that is easier said than done as Shigaraki is now aware of Deku’s plan. Regardless of how this battle will move forward, it seems like losing his One For All is indeed going to be the final step into stopping Shigaraki.
Thus, at the cost of his quirk that saw Deku stepping up as a hero, he will become the greatest hero of the world by stopping Shigaraki and All For One. This will put an end to the cycle of All For One and One For All as well.
