Vampire survival base-builder V Rising launched in Steam early access in May 17, 2022. Just within one year of frequent updates, Stunlock Studios is gearing up for its full release on May 8.
The full release promises to add an endgame zone titled ‘The Ruins of Mortium’. The Steam announcement talks about “a final chapter to cap off your Vampire journey”, which likely means raising the current level cap of 84.
Stunlock Studios also highlights the addition of full gamepad support that V Rising was sorely lacking in its early access period. Otherwise, the castle building system is also getting a few touchups which has been arguably one of the better aspects coming out of the indie open-world survival title.
Here are the full list of features coming with V Rising’s 1.0 release:
- Explore a new deadly endgame zone: The Ruins of Mortium!
- A final chapter to cap off your Vampire journey!
- Dynamic endgame events!
- A new breed of foe, and new V Blood bosses!
- New weapons, A new tier of equipment, and magic improvements!
- Improvements to castle building, decor, and storage!
- Native, smoothly implemented gamepad support!
- Game optimization, visual improvements, and an all around smoother experience!
The open-world survival genre has seen a lot of saturation this year. With Enshrouded, Nightingale, and of course, the massively successful Palworld earlier this year, it will be V Rising’s turn on May 8. However, V Rising has its top-down perspective and the whole vampire setting that set it apart from its peers.
V Rising will have its full release on May 8 on PC via Steam. Currently, the game is out on early access.
