Leading your team through the Darkest Dungeons can be difficult as you are in peril all the time. However, laying down a camp can be an opportunity for your team to recover and upgrade. Let me show you how it’s done.
How To Set Up A Camp In Darkest Dungeon
To make a camp in Darkest Dungeon, right-click on the firewood in your inventory. This will successfully make a camp.
To ensure that you can successfully lay down a camp, follow these rules:
- You can only camp in rooms, not hallways or paths in between rooms
- You can only camp if you have firewood in your inventory.
Following the first rule, if you have a battle in a room, you must first clear it out before laying down a camp. Simply put, you can only set up camps in cleared rooms, which include rooms with curios or treasure and even secret rooms.
Note: You are only given firewood at the start of Medium, Long, and Exhausting expeditions. That is why, plan your breaks accordingly.
- Medium Expeditions = One Firewood
- Long Expeditions: Two Firewood
- Exhausting Expeditions: Four Firewood
- Epic Expeditions: You can loot firewood from certain curios in this Expedition.
