While playing through Tribes of Midgard, I needed to craft several items and also upgrade some of the essentials, like my Construction Table. However, in most cases, I realized I needed more Gold. Thankfully, I managed to mine Gold at several locations in the game.
How I Found Gold In Tribes Of Midgard
Gold in Tribes of Midgard can be mined from Gold Deposits that are found in Highland Underpass, Highland Hideout, Ash Beach Islands, and Volcanic Spire. Getting to these areas requires a boat (you will get one after beating the First Jotun).
I was also able to get Gold via occasional drops from Ravens and Snowy Owls in Glacier Peaks, but I wouldn’t recommend this method as it takes way too long. If you want to straight up buy Gold instead of farming it, you can get it from Fáfnir the Sorcerer in Smokey Highlands for 200 Souls.
Mining Gold Deposits can also provide Gold Essence, which can be planted in a Dug Hole to slowly grow Gold over time.
