Following the massive success of Stardew Valley 1.6 Update on PC, players on other platforms feel the sting of missing out. Catering to players’ reactions, game creator, Eric Barone has confirmed that the 1.6 Update is in progress for the Mobile and Console versions.
While Eric has not given any specific release date, he has ensured that the update will be “released as soon as possible”.
As ConcernedApe elaborated on the update progress on Twitter, fans have been incredibly supportive and patient.
Stardew Valley Update 1.6 was released on March 20 for the PC version. The key highlight of this update remains the extension of the multiplayer mode to up to 8 players. The dropped in-game prices is yet another change that has created so much hype about the update.
The update is not limited to additional features and content, the graphics of the game have been enhanced as well. Multiple pets, a new mastery system, new maps, new festivals, smoother combat the list goes on.
While the Stardew Valley 1.6 Update release date for consoles and mobile still remains a mystery, it is admirable how an Indie game developer has managed to elevate the game for eight years.
