Frictional Games has announced a short delay in release, much to the dismay of the Amnesia series fans. Amnesia: The Bunker has already gone through delays several times this year, with the developer taking more time to for tweaking and putting the finishing touches on the game.
Amnesia: The Bunker to get a free demo on the original release date
However, as a silver lining, Frictional Games has announced that it will launch a free demo on Steam Store on May 22. However, PlayStation and Xbox players will have to wait for the release of the full version.
The fourth entry in the Amnesia survival horror game series, Amnesia: The Bunker has garnered much excitement from the series’ fans. The developer claims this game will be unique and instead of following a linear storyline like the first three entrees, The Bunker will be unscripted. The game will have the environment, objects, resources, and threats changing every time, creating a unique gameplay experience for every player.
The lack of linear story progression is a surprising element to watch out for in this new title, as the game will try its best to scare and haunt people to create an increasingly unpredictable experience. That does not mean, however, that the game features no story. Amnesia: The Bunker is expected to pick up where Amnesia: Rebirth left off.
Amnesia: The Bunker will allow players to embody Henri Clement, a French soldier plagued and pursued by an alien or supernatural being through a vast, dimly lit underground bunker.
