Creator of No Man’s Sky, Sean Murray has posted a mysterious tweet with only two apple emojis, indicating that he might soon make an announcement about the game coming to Apple products.
At Apple’s WWDC 2022, the video game developer Hello Game had announced that it will bring its famous title No Man’s Sky to Mac and iPad. This was expected to happen in late 2022, but the game hadn’t made its way to Apple’s App Store. The gaming community now believes that this was intentional and that the game will probably be coming to Apple’s new VR headset, rumored to make an appearance in the upcoming WWDC 2023.

No Man’s Sky coming to Apple VR would make sense, as this flagship title of Hello Game has already made its way to PC and PS VR. At the time of Apple’s VR announcement, the consumer devices giant seemed pretty uninterested in featuring gaming as the main selling point. However, looking at the rising VR gaming trends, it would be foolish of Apple to not realize the emerging industry’s potential. Furthermore, Mark Gruman has already speculated that Apple is changing its approach and leaning on high-end gaming to market the upcoming Apple VR headset.
No Man’s Sky is a brilliant action-adventure survival game that has made its way to every mainstream console in the current generation. The news of Sean Murray collaborating with Apple to bring this masterpiece on their VR headset is not surprising though. Just recently, Hideo Kojima was spotted at Apple Campus and people had predicted that Kojima might be working on a port of Death Stranding for Apple VR. Combining these two bits of information, its safe to say that Apple has gotten serious about pushing gaming as the main selling point for their upcoming Reality Pro VR headset.
WWDC 2023 on June 5 is an event gamers might want to keep their eyes on.
