In a recent stream on Twitch, popular GTA streamer Felix “xQc” Lengyel revealed that he owns a part of the famous NoPixel GTA RP server. In his stream, he revealed that Koil, who used to be the sole proprietor of the server, now owns 50% stake in the product. Meanwhile, xQc and another popular GTA RP streamer, Buddha, each own 25% of the platform.
xQc is an immensely popular streamer on Twitch, with his livestreams attracting audiences of 100,000+ viewers at a time. He is considered to be the second most watched streamer on Twitch and the most watched English-speaking streamer on the platform, with over 11 million followers.
xQc and his relationship with NoPixel RP server
xQc has had a notorious past, with NoPixel banning him multiple times over the years for a variety of reasons – breaking in-game rules, killing of other role players to increase his viewership, and releasing loud and unseemly statements in profane language. The streamer is popular for his explosive attitude and had also been banned from League of Legends for using offensive language.
Gamers using this popular GTA RP server are worried about xQc’s involvement as the owner of NoPixel. However, it looks like his stake in the platform hasn’t given him any administrative power over the server’s functioning. To clarify his current role as a co-owner of NoPixel, the streamer stated,
“My involvement in the whole NoPixel RP, the whole realm has nothing to do with any admin decisions, admin whatever, bans, unbans, rules, anything at all.”
It was revealed earlier in May that Buddha, also a co-owner of NoPixel, will be helping Koil in administrative issues faced by the server. This information came after a lawsuit was filed against Koil by a former employee which landed the company in trouble.
