Half an hour after Solo Leveling Episode 7 was released, the official Twitter account of the anime shared news of the Solo Leveling Episode 8 delay. But this break in schedule has revealed some interesting information about the show.
Solo Leveling Episode 8 Will Be Delayed By A Week
Due to the delay, Solo Leveling Episode 8 will now be released on Sunday, March 3, 2024, at 12 am JST. In the western regions, the episode will be released a day earlier.
Reason for the delay of episode 8 hasn’t been revealed yet. But to fill the gap, Solo Leveling will get a recap episode of what has happened so far in the season next week. This episode is numbered 7.5 and is titled “How To Get Stronger’. This surely hints at the first season of Solo Leveling having a single cour.
This means that the first season of Solo Leveling will most likely have 12 or 13 episodes at max. Considering that the recap episode is sandwiched between episodes 7th and 8th, my bet is that season 1 will likely end with 13 episodes.
