I love Content Warning’s unique face customization. It’s fun to play around with and can help you stand out among your friends. Changing the faces is pretty simple, and there are several options to choose from.
How To Change Faces In Content Warning
To change your face in Content Warning, you will need to approach the TV screen. Interacting with it can let you customize the color and the writing on the face. Follow these steps:
- Head over to the TV and press E to interact with it.
- Clear the default face by hitting the Backspace button.
- Type anything that you want your face to be. It can be emoticons or your clan tag or a short form of your IGN.
- Change the color if you’d like and then click on Apply.
Experiment as much as you want and remember to use various symbols; they’re the most fun in my opinion. You can use the flip button to change the alignment of the text and use Backspace to start editing the face again.
You can also use ASCII Characters to make up a face. ASCII characters are letters in a code used to make up symbols and other letters not normally found on a keyboard. To do so, approach the TV as you normally do and press and hold the Alt button, and enter a combination of numbers to make up an ASCII character. To get the full list of ASCII characters, click here.
Using Registry Editor
You can also use Registry Editor to add more custom faces and we can do so by accessing the game files. To do so, follow these steps.
- Search for Registry Editor in the Windows Search Bar.
- Head on over to the HKEY_CURRENT_USER folder and from there click on Software > Landfall Games > Content Warning.
- You will see tons of files there, you are going to click on the one that says FaceText_h.
- Right-click on it and press Modify.
- Type out the face codes we are writing down below and click OK to save the changes.
- Relaunch Content Warning.
