How To Fast Travel In Dragon’s Dogma 2?
There are two ways you can fast travel in Dragon’s Dogma 2:
- Oxcart
- Portcrystals and Ferrystones
Oxcart
The Oxcart is a very cheap and effective way to travel throughout different towns in Dragon’s Dogma 2. Although it might take a bit of time to reach your destination while traveling in the Oxcart, you can board the ride for only 200 G.
The only catch is that Oxcarts run only during the morning hours and cannot be boarded after that time has passed. So, you should schedule your travels accordingly if you want to take a ride on this slow but steady journey.
Note: Oxcarts can also be ambushed by monsters and enemies lurking at every corner, so be prepared to fight them anytime.

Portcrystals and Ferrystones
Portcrystals are essentially fast travel points spread throughout the kingdoms of Vermund and Battahl. You need to activate them to travel to a different unlocked location. These permanent fixtures can help you travel to your specific location in an instant.
You need to use a Ferrystone to fast travel to an activated portcrystal in the map and you can also place your own portcrystals at any chosen destination.
Ferrystones are items that you need for fast traveling to any active portcrystals in Dragon’s Dogma 2. If you want to reach a certain location instantly, simply open your inventory, use the stone, and select the Portcrystal to teleport to that area.
You can get Ferrystones from chests, quest rewards, and Seeker’s tokens, and even buy them from the merchants for 10,000 G. There is also a chance to get this item from side-quests in the game but due to its rarity, you might need to search for Ferrystones for a bit before getting your hands on just one.
Furthermore, it’s best not to use them up and keep them for important missions where you would need to travel far. Keeping a ferrystone or two as a backup for escaping deadly situations also can be quite a useful trick when encountering powerful enemies.
