7. Nitewing

Fastest Flying Mounts In Palworld, Ranked - - News | | GamesHorizon

Location: (62, -414)

This large, hawk-like Pal is the best starter-level flying mount in Palworld. While it isn’t the best or the fastest one in the game, it certainly is your best choice when you are beginning to fly. This neutral-type Pal features simple and low-level attacks, making this a primarily traversal Pal.

However, once you start progressing in the game, you can upgrade and teach it new moves, such as Power Bombs and Tornedos, so it can deal moderate damage in a pinch.

6. Vanwyrm

Fastest Flying Mounts In Palworld, Ranked - - News | | GamesHorizon

Location: (-100, -412)

This Dark or Fire-type Pal can be a great help in both travel and combat. If you engage in aerial combat while flying a Vanwyrm, the damage you deal to your enemy’s weak points is significantly increased.

While capturing this beast might take a couple of tries, it is still a beginner flying mount. The benefit of having Vanwyrm in your inventory, however, is in its possible drops. It can be a great deal of help around your base and offer you Ruby, Gold Coins, and Bones.

5. Quivern

Fastest Flying Mounts In Palworld, Ranked - - News | | GamesHorizon

Location: (-665, -113)

Quivern is a dragon that proves to be one of the best and fastest flying mounts in Palworld around mid-game. It features a special weapon called the Dragon Canon, and engaging in combat while riding this beast enhances your dragon attacks.

You can catch Quivern around level 22. The beast can be found in the wildlife sanctuary situated on the west side of the map. Another Quivern can also be found in the Sealed Realm of Winged Tyrant dungeon.

4. Beakon

Fastest Flying Mounts In Palworld, Ranked - - News | | GamesHorizon

Location: (527, 526)

This electric-type Pal shares visual similarities to the Ragnahawk. If you fight enemies while riding this beast, it adds extra electric damage to your ongoing attacks.

You can find Beakon in the North-east area of the game’s map, hiding in the snowy mountains. It offers considerable speed as opposed to the aforementioned Pals, however, catching it can be a bit tricky. Apart from flying, Beakon is a great help around your base as it is extremely useful for generating electricity to further your technology in Palworld.

3. Suzaku

Fastest Flying Mounts In Palworld, Ranked - - News | | GamesHorizon

Location: (405, 256)

Suzaku features the highest vertical speed in Palworld, making this your best go-to aerial mount for a quick getaway. You can attempt to catch this beast around level 40. While its firepower doesn’t match with heavy hitters like Jetragon and Ragnahawk, Suzaku can be a great aerial Pal late in the game.

You can find Suzaku in the desert located to North of the game’s map and it makes for an ideal egg hunting companion. The vertical speed of Suzaku surpasses even Ragnahawk. However, if you plan on covering horizontal airspace faster, we recommend the following Pals.

2. Ragnahawk

Fastest Flying Mounts In Palworld, Ranked - - News | | GamesHorizon

Location: (-479, -742)

One of the most accessible flying mounts that offers high speed, Ragnahawk can be found at Mount Obsidian. You will need to achieve level 35 before attempting a capture. You will also need a Hyper Pal Sphere to capture this beast.

Not tailored for beginners, Ragnahawk is best suited for late-game adventures. It is one of the fastest flying mounts in Palworld, and its arsenal of heavy weapons makes it a perfect choice for aerial combat.

1. Jetragon

Fastest Flying Mounts In Palworld, Ranked - - News | | GamesHorizon

Location: (-789, -321)

Jetragon is the fastest flying mount in Palworld. The legendary dragon can be found high up in Mount Obsidian, located far west of Palworld’s map. You will need to achieve level 50 before you can capture this Pal.

You will also need to have a legendary Pal sphere and a good line-up of heavy-hitter Pals if you want to attempt catching the Jetragon. If you fail in your first attempt to catch this legendary beast, do not fret. Jetragon will respawn at the same location an hour after your fight.
