The time has almost come for fans of Ghost of Tsushima. The Ghost of Tsushima: Director’s Cut is coming to PC very soon. Below, we’ll let you know when the game releases for PC players.
Ghost of Tsushima: Director’s Cut – When does it release?
Ghost of Tsushima: Director’s Cut is coming to PC on May 16, 2024. We know this thanks to the Official Steam Page. This is a huge deal because it’s the first time the game leaves PlayStation.
For those who don’t know, The Ghost of Tsushima: Director’s Cut follows the journey of Jin Sakai in the late 13th century amidst the Mongol empire’s conquests. Tsushima Island is depicted as the barrier between mainland Japan and the Mongol invasion fleet led by the shrewd general, Khotun Khan. You play as Jin Sakai.
In the aftermath of the first wave of the Mongol attack, the samurai warrior Jin Sakai becomes one of the few surviving members of his clan. He is determined to protect his people and retake his homeland at any cost, so he follows an unconventional path—the path of the Ghost. The ghost is essentially a ninja. To free Tsushima, he must abandon the traditions that have always defined him as a warrior and fight an unusual battle for freedom.
What’s cool is that you’ll get a treat if you’re a fan of older Samurai movies. The Director’s cut comes with Japanese lip sync, offering an authentic experience through real-time rendering of cinematics. There’s also the fact that PlayStation Haptic Feedback and Adaptive Triggers work if you use a wired DualSense controller.
