Where Can You Adopt Pets in Coral Island?
Once you have reached Town Rank E, you can now get yourself a new pet for your house. Here are the steps you need to follow for it:
- Head over to the Town Center, take the first doorway to the right and it will lead you to the Coral Island Pet Adoption Center.
- Go to the desk and interact with the computer. Here select the Shop option and buy a Pet bed or a Pet House. Pet beds come in various themes and cost 500 Coral coins while a Pet house will cost you 3000 Coral coins. This is only aesthetic and won’t affect your pet in any way.
- Once a Pet bed or Pet House is bought, you will need to go back to your house and place it down in an empty space then head back to the Pet Adoption center. The Pet Bed can be placed indoors while the Pet House can be placed outdoors.
- Interact with the computer at the Pet Adoption center again and this time select the Adopt pet option. Select the pet that you want to adopt from the list but remember that you can only adopt 1 pet so make your decision wisely. You can also rename the pet if you like once you choose it.
- Now, go back to your house and progress to the next day to get your pet to arrive. You will now have a new pet companion roaming around in your house.
Getting Town Rank E For Coral Island Pet Adoption
For you to be eligible for pet adoption in Coral Island, you need to have Town Rank E. This is achievable early in the game. Here are some of the activities you can do to get to Town Rank E:
- Cleaning the Coral Reefs: Helping Dr. Ling with his quests and cleaning the ocean by collecting garbage in the Diving Activity can push your progress toward Town Rank E quickly.
- Donating to the Museum: You can bring various interesting items and other artifacts to Scott at the Starlet Town Museum to earn some points towards your Town Rank. Things like Fossils, Artifacts, Gems, etc. can be bought at the Museum,
- Donating to Lake Temple: Similar to the Museum, you can also do the same at the Lake Temple by giving the items as an offering to the Goddess and the Giants. This will help increase your Town Rank even further.
