The new Strand subclass introduced in the Season of the Deep is pretty powerful and fun to play with. But to unlock its full potential, you need to complete the Unveiled Quest in Destiny 2. You will also need to complete the full Lightfall campaign and its epilogue missions to get access to it.
Destiny 2 Unveiled Quest Guide
Once you complete Lightfall and get the quest from Nimbus in Neomuna, your objective is to check on Osiris’s data crawler for info about Veil’s history. This is done at the Veil Containment facility.
Head to the Veil Containment facility and interact with the active console to get the data and complete the Unveiled Quest in Destiny 2. This is the same area where the epilogue missions take place. However, you won’t have to run the entire length of it to complete this quest.

Here is how you can fast travel to Veil Containment quickly and complete the quest:
- Go to your Quest menu.
- From the quests on the left, select Unveiled quest.
- Select Launch; this will now take you directly to Veil Containment.
- Go to the console with the lit screen and interact when you get the prompt to Decrypt Archive.
- You will now hear an audio log, after which Osiris’ data will be downloaded.
- Head back to the Hall of Heroes and interact with the Pouka Pond to upload Osiris’s Data and complete the Unveiled Quest in Destiny 2.
Completing this quest will enable more Strand aspects like the Whirling Maelstrom, Weavewalk, and the Banner of War. Each Strand aspect unlock will require you to complete the Unveiled Quest again.
