Dying Light 2 features a myriad of different zombie types, all with their own strengths and weaknesses. Chargers in Dying Light 2 are immediately recognizable by the rock-like growth over their head and arms. While being deadly, they are also quite elusive but still not impossible to find.
Charger Location In Dying Light 2
You can always find one Charger on the south edge of the map inside the basement of the Newfound Land Military Relay. This is a consistent location to farm Chargers as they will spawn again once you reload the game and come back here.
Here is what you need to do once you get to the Newfound Land Military Relay:
- Find the ladder that takes you into the basement.
- Once you descend, try and stealth your way through the next corridor.
- You will have two open doors in both directions at the end of the room, take the door on the left.
- Now head through the set of doors that are half opened and you will now be in a room full of multiple zombies and a Charger.

This is by far the only location where you can farm Chargers as other ones that you will find in free-roam and missions only appear once and do not respawn. You alternatively also get one in Harper’s regular missions but it’s not as consistently farmable.
Make sure you are prepared for this fight as it isn’t easy to to take down a charger. Your best tactic is to let it charge at you and then dodge at the last section. Try and make him charge into objects and structures to deal damage to him.
