How To Prevent The Centipede Error In Destiny 2
While it can be caused by a drop in your internet connection, it can also be due to certain settings related to your network. Here are some of the things you can try to prevent the Centipede error:
- Switch to a wired connection: If you are playing Destiny 2 over a WiFi connection, you should consider playing on a wired connection instead. This can not only (potentially) fix the error but also improve the overall experience.
- Make Sure NAT Type isn’t Strict (Type 3): Having a strict Type NAT can cause the Centipede Error. Make sure your NAT is at least Type 2, if not Type 1 which is the open NAT.
- Check ISP Limits: If you access the game via a university or corporate network, or just have a limit-based internet connection, make sure you are not over this limit as it may be causing this error.
