The root cause of the Major Orders not progressing bug seems to be progress tracking. There are several troubleshooting steps you can try to fix it.
Important Note: These rewards are gained at a community level. You can’t expect to play individual missions and reap the benefits. The entire community will have to complete the given objectives in order for everyone to gain these rewards.
- Play in Co-op Mode: Major Orders in Helldivers 2 are community events, not solo missions. If you are in the habit of playing in solo mode, try playing several co-op missions. This will improve the tracking reliability and offer a good chance for you to participate in Major Orders quests. Since Major Orders instruct all the players to work towards a singular objective, it’s highly recommended to team up with your friends.
