Copper Wire in Lightyear Frontier is used for mech upgrades and other important recipes. However, you cannot find this resource and instead need to craft it using Copper Ore. Now, Copper itself is pretty hard to find if you don’t know where to look, so let me help you out.
How To Craft Copper Wire In Lightyear Frontier
To unlock Copper Wire in Lightyear Frontier, you need to have an Assembler and the Copper Ore. Simply feed two Copper Ores into the Assembler to make one Copper Wire. Repeat the process as many times as you like to create more Copper Wires.

How To Get Assembler In Lightyear Frontier
To make an Assembler, you will need:
- 10 Aluminium Rod
- 10 Stone
- 4 Plant Oil
Once you make the Assembler, it is time to find the Copper Ore.
How To Find Copper Ore In Lightyear Frontier
You can find Copper Ore in the Edge Cliffs region of the map.
- You will need to restore the area to its former glory by clearing all the Noxious Weeds using the Vacuum Harvester. Do so until the progress bar reaches zero.
- Wait until the next day. A cutscene will play showing the area beginning to flourish again.
- Now, you must also have the Spike Saw Power I upgrade which you can acquire easily using Aluminium Rods.
- Once you get the upgrade, head to Edge Cliffs and mine the Copper Ore.
You now have the Copper Ore that you can put into the Assembler to make a Copper Wire.
