Most of the chests in Granblue Fantasy Relink are open and do not require a key. However, some of them require specific keys, such as the Gold Key which is needed to open gold chests.
How Can I Get Gold Key in Granblue Fantasy Relink?
Gold Key can be obtained by accepting and completing the Out of Serpentine Spite quest in Granblue Fantasy Relink. This quest will become available to you during Chapter 8 of the game. To access and accept this particular quest, you will need to travel to Seedhollow.
Out of Serpentine Spite quest is offered by a horned man standing beside the Quest Counter in Seedhollow. To complete this quest, you will have to defeat a Cobra.
Chances are that you and your party might have a Cobra in your inventory after defeating one of them near Dahli Island in Chapter 6. If you have one, simply offer it to the man. If not, follow the mission objectives, defeat a Cobra, and bring it back to the horned man.
Gold Key will then be offered to you by the horned man as the reward for finishing the Out of Serpentine Spite quest.
You can open two Gold Chests once you obtain the Gold Key in Granblue Fantasy Relink:
- Folca: One of the Gold chests can be found in Folca. Simply jump up to the balcony from the low red rooftops in the city to find it.
- Seedhollow: You can immediately go and open this chest after completing the quest. It can be found near the steps on the docks. Locate the larger closed gate and take a right turn. You will find the chest up the small flight of stairs.
