If you want to venture into the frozen lands of Tribes of Midgard, you need the valuable Unfrozen Talismans in the game. These are crafting items used in making Utgarð armor which gives protection against the cold. But, before you’re able to make the armor, you need to farm some enemies to gather this particular resource.
How Do I Get Unfrozen Talismans In Tribes of Midgard?
Unfrozen Talismans are dropped by enemies in the Glacier Peaks. The most common enemies to drop this item as loot are the Unfrozen Warriors and the Unfrozen Shield-Maiden. All you need to do to gather the item is to defeat these enemies (preferably with fire) and pick up the loot that they drop.
However, DO NOT FORGET to take a cold-resistant potion when fighting enemies in the Glacier Peaks. I didn’t take the potion in the first run and froze to death.
You can also purchase unfrozen talismans from the Glacier Peaks Sorcerer, but make sure you have enough funds.

Unfrozen Talisman Uses In Tribes of Midgard
Unfrozen Talisman can be used to make tons of armor that provides in-built resistance to cold. The list of armor is as follows:
- Utgarð’s Boots
- Utgarð’s Bow
- Utgarð’s Gauntlets
- Utgarð’s Helmet
- Utgarð’s Pants
- Utgarð’s Plackart
- Utgarð’s Skeggox
- Utgarð’s Ward
- Fornjót’s Axe
You will also need 15 unfrozen talismans to upgrade your Armor Loom from level III to level IV so that it can make “Epic” armor in the game.
