The Super-Earth is under attack from not only the alien bugs but also robots, and Scout Striders in Helldivers 2 are robots that are going to give you a tough time. Often found in the higher-difficulty missions, these resemble the AT-ST from Star Wars. But are they really that powerful?
How To Defeat Scout Striders In Helldivers 2
The Scout Strider in Helldivers 2 only takes damage from the back, by shooting at the robot automaton controlling it from the inside. The robot has a small health bar compared to the Scout Strider itself, and killing them will result in the Strider being defeated as well.

The back of the Scout Strider is completely open and exposes the pilot Robot within it. If you can’t get behind it, you can also try throwing grenades at its feet to catch some AoE damage on the pilot. Stratagems can also come handy for this purpose.
While the Strider is bulletproof from the front, it isn’t explosion-proof. You can still use heavy explosive weapons to take it down by just blowing it up altogether. But since that won’t always be an option, taking out the pilot is the best and easiest way to defeat Scout Striders in Helldivers 2.
