While ARPGs heavily focus on the action side of the game, they also include a way to counter brutal enemy attacks in the form of Parry. Parry is a form of dodging mechanism in No Rest for the Wicked which lets you stun your enemies for a few seconds, giving you the upper hand in battle. But, getting used to the parry system might be a difficult task if you do not have the right instructions.
Parrying in No Rest for the Wicked
To parry in No Rest for the Wicked, click the Middle Mouse Button on your Keyboard and time it correctly with your enemy’s attacks. Parry is LT for Xbox controllers and L2 for PS5 controllers.
Once you are aware of the parry button, try to observe the enemy’s movements and attacks so that you can use that to your advantage. Remember, timing is everything, so whenever your enemy attacks, hit parry and watch them stagger for a bit.
Note: Turn on the poise meter in your game settings to know when an enemy is staggered.

This is where you use the stagger window and get a few good hits in before the enemy retaliates. Also, keep in mind that the more you spam your attacks, the more stamina is consumed. So, spamming might not be the best course of action in No Rest for the Wicked.
Combine Parry with a few hits before dodging away from the area and then repeat the same process to take them down. If you find an opponent facing away from your character, you can also backstab to take them out quietly in the game.
You can always perfect the parry system by testing it out on the early-game enemies. So, just keep trying and move forward with your adventures.
