Chargers are massive bug-like creatures in Helldivers 2. Their armor makes it difficult to kill them while their charge attacks can do a number on the soldiers. However, if you are strategic about your choices and notice their openings, it is easy to kill them.

Best Ways To Kill Chargers In Helldivers 2
There are three different approaches you can take to killing Chargers in Helldivers 2. One is the universally known dodge-and-shoot method while the other two make use of the Orbital Railcannon Strike and EAT (expendable anti-tank), respectively.
Orbital Railcannon Strike
Orbital Railcannon Strikes can make short work of the chargers. This is the easiest way to deal with these bugs, especially in higher difficulties.
Armor Stripping with EAT/Recoilless Rifle
For this method, you need a Recoilless Rifle or an EAT. One well placed shot of EAT-17 or recoilless rifle to the head kills them instantly. While this was not the case when the game launched, chargers were nerfed on patch 1.000.102.

Dodge and Shoot
This method is for when you don’t have access to either of the above two methods. All you have to do is to wait for the Chargers to charge at you and then shoot their weak spot in the back.
- Stand at a distance from the Charger and shoot it to get its attention.
- Dive either towards the left or right at the last second to avoid getting hit.
- Now shoot the exposed back of the creature to do tons of damage.
- Rinse and repeat until it dies.
