Cash Cleaner Simulator includes different types of money necessary for different missions. These include money marked by gangs, police and the FDI. If you don’t identify the marked and counterfeit money properly, it can lead you failing missions and taking a hit on your reputation. That’s why we have this guide on how to spot marked bills and counterfeit money in Cash Cleaner Simulator!
Identifying Marked Bills
To identify marked bills, you need to have the Portable UV light set up on your workbench. Normal bills and Marked bills have a circular UV stamp on them, when you look at them through the UV light. If your bill shows no signs of a UV stamp, then it is a counterfeit bill!
You can buy this light from the Black Market for 750 Crypto Coins on your phone. As you keep completing missions, you’ll be able to buy better and more expensive UV lights!

You’ll first encounter marked bills during the mission ‘No Marked Money‘, where this information comes in handy. Markings in the bills come mainly in 3 different forms.
- The first one is the ‘Glowing Eye‘ symbol. This means this bill is marked by the FDI ( Federal Department of Investigation ).
- The second mark is a big cross from all 4 corners of the bill. This bill is marked by the Police and covers the entire bill, so you can spot it pretty easily.
- All the other marks are marked by gangs, these mostly include square-shaped marks.
Some bills will also have blood splatters on them. You’ll need to clean these bills using the washing machine and dryer before sending them out. Bills with Ink splatters will also need to be cleaned with a sponge before sending them out.
Keep in mind, only send out marked bills if the mission states that marked bills are allowed! Also note that some missions also ask for specific marked bills, so we recommend you keep these in a different stash.
To make your life easier while handling marked bills, here are some tips you can follow:
- Turn off the main warehouse lights when using the UV light; this increases the contrast and makes the markings easier to spot. You can also do this by sorting at night, as the red marks are less bright during the day.
- You can also buy “Steel work table” which has a lower shelf perfect for blocking sunlight during the day.
- Label your boxes based on Clean bills, Counterfeit bills, FDI-Marked bills, Police-marked bills, Gang-marked bills. This reduces the chance of sending out the wrong bills and potentially costing the mission.
- Sending counterfeit bills will result in immediate mission failure most of the time.
- Ignoring cleaning requirements can also result in mission failure.
- As you progress, you’ll unlock UV lights that cover a wider area.
