Crimson Desert has many secrets that are carefully hidden behind walls, caves, and in some cases, out in the open. You never know what you might stumble upon on your adventure. One such item is the Power Core Casket of Illusions, a key item that gets used in crafting the Kuku armor blueprint. An item of such rarity is also hidden, but not inside a chest, but as a monster drop. Here’s how to go about getting the Power Core Casket of Illusions.
How to Find Power Core – Casket of Illusions
You get the Power Core – Casket of Illusions from farming worm-like stone creatures in Crimson Desert. Head to the spot above the Steel Mountains, located southwest of Demeniss. Travel to the nexus spot, northwest of Willow River. From the Abyss Nexus point, move northeast to find the specific spot. We have a picture above to help you get to the spot quickly.
Travel to the spot pointed out on the map to enter the Grace Estate Greenfield Highlands. Soon, you will come across a cliff overlooking the entire area.
- Here, next to the ledge, you will find worm-like stone creatures coming out of the ground. These are the abyss monsters you must slay to get the Power Core – Casket of Illusions objects. These monsters are extremely good at camouflaging; simply walk over the ground, and they will pop out of their hole. You must completely defeat these monsters to get the power core as an item drop.
- You will notice that, unlike other item drops, these power cores will be floating in the air. Now equip your grappling hook and shoot at the core, sending them directly into your inventory.
- Let’s say they get the better of you, then don’t worry, you can always get to the same area and try your luck again. You can always grind the monsters until you get a satisfactory amount of Power Cores.
Note: If you don’t see these worms respawn, teleport to a different place and come back to spawn the monsters.
What to do with the Power Core Casket of Illusion?
Power Core Casket of Illusion is an essential key material that will help you craft the Kuku Flame-Resistant armor in-game. It is regarded as one of the best armor pieces in the game; it has 18 defense, 5 Abyss slots, a Lv. 2 critical rate, and a Lv. 10 fire resistance perk, making it a perfect piece of armor against many of the game’s toughest foes.
Power Core Casket of Illusion is just one of the required materials for the armor crafting; you will also need to gather Enhanced Kuku Pot x1, Flame Plate Armor x1, and Core of Absolution x1 to craft the Kuku Flame-Resistant Armor.
