Persona 3 Reload is the first game in Persona 3 series that has a native release for Xbox and PC. Previously, all Persona 3 games were PlayStation-exclusive when launched. This has many wondering, will Persona 3 Reload be released for the Switch?
Can I Play Persona 3 Reload on Nintendo Switch?
No, Persona 3 Reload will not be released on Nintendo Switch. At the very least, a Switch version will not be released on Feb 2, 2024, like other versions.
Over the past few years, many Persona titles have made their way to Switch. However, owing to the scale and content of Persona 3 Reload, the developers have decided to skip releasing a Switch version at the launch.
This doesn’t mean that Persona 3 Reload will never come to Nintendo Switch. With overflowing rumors about the Switch 2 featuring a larger screen and advanced hardware, we might get a Switch port for Persona 3 Reload sometime in the future.
While talking to a Spanish website Atomix.vg, the director of Persona 3 Reload, Takuya Yamaguchi, said that a Switch port isn’t completely out of the question. He said:
“Since we began conceptualizing everything that would come in Persona 3 Reload, we decided that there would be no version for the Nintendo Switch. Of course the idea is there, but it’s a matter of discussing it with the team and seeing what they think about it and we’ll see what happens.”
