MultiVersus has been relaunched with great success, and many players are loving the new balancing changes for fair PvP fights. However, many new players are finding their matches to be easier than expected, which is making them wonder if MultiVersus has bots in PvP. This isn’t surprising, though, as many multiplayer games feature bots in PvP modes.
Does MultiVersus have Bots in PvP?

Yes, when you first start playing online PvP in MultiVersus, the game will match you against bots for at least your first five matches (excluding rematches) which will increase in difficulty after each match. Even when you start getting real players in one playlist, you will still have to go up against bots for a different playlist if it’s your first time playing it.
This is in place to ensure you won’t get stomped on by real players in your first few matches when you likely are not used to the game’s mechanics. These initial matches will allow you to learn and understand how real PvP matches work and get you warmed up to face real players.

Many other online multiplayer games feature the same system, allowing new players to hone their skills before entering the real arena with real players. MultiVersus PvP is no joke and can be sweaty if you are fighting against really good players.
New players might quit the game on their first few tries since they won’t be able to fight against real players if they don’t learn the basic mechanics of the game, so it makes sense that MultiVersus PvP drops you in a few matches with bots first. Games like Fortnite also do a similar thing where they put you in bot lobbies for your first few matches.
