Protagonist, My Eyes Deceive
My Eyes Deceive Good Ending
The Good Ending of My Eyes Deceive is triggered when you choose not to take the pills. After writing this decision in the diary, the girl proceeds to sleep. She experiences a symbolic dream where her trust in the Father goes down.
As she wakes up on Day 7, she skips the pills and proceeds to drink water. As she enters the lobby, she notices fresh food on the table confirming the father’s return. After preparing and eating the food, the girl goes to the hatch to talk with him.
During the conversation, the father explains that he has been busy and apologizes for his absence. He makes sure the girl has been taking her pills. The protagonist lies here, proceeds to her bed, and pretends to fall asleep.
The father enters the basement through the hatch and asks the girl if she is asleep. The girl doesn’t respond. There is a questionable jingling sound followed by a dialogue “Let’s get to it then”. However, the father is interrupted by a doorbell before he can perform the heinous act. He curses and leaves the basement.
This gives the girl an opening to escape the prison area. She comes across a narrow lobby and notices a bill for Sedatives. Upon further exploration, she comes across a police report that explains the father had been questioned about his suspicious purchases. However, the police couldn’t find any substantial evidence against him and set him free.
After this, the girl takes a flight of stairs, leaving the basement for the first time. She looks at the sun and wonders, “What is that glowing ball up there? And why does it hurt my eyes”. This is the end of the good ending and is followed by the credits.
My Eyes Deceive Good Ending Meaning
The young girl was held captive by the man under the pretense of the world being a dangerous place. The man drugged the young girl with sedatives and carried out despicable acts with her while she was knocked out. In the good ending, the girl gets the opportunity to escape the basement.

The Bad Ending in My Eyes Deceive unfolds when we decide to confide in the father and take the pills on Day 6. The girl writes down her decision in her diary and proceeds to sleep.

On the proceeding day, the girl continues to take her pills like every day. The same routine is repeated, followed by a happy diary entry in the girl’s journal. She retires to bed in a happy mood.
There is a time skip to Day 147 where the girl wakes up and takes her pill as per routine. Her vision is hazier than usual. After repeating the same daily tasks, the ending is concluded with a heart-shattering dialogue, “Why is my belly so round and big?”. The screen goes blank and the credits roll.
